The International Exhibition for the Coil Winding, Insulation and Electric Motor and Generator Manufacturing Industries |
WEM EXPO, the first Italian fair dedicated to the manufacturing industry of coil winding, insulation, electric motors and generators, ended on a successful note and exceeded all expectations. It took place last November in Milan within the great event dedicated to innovative technologies HTE-hi.tech.expo: more than 10,000 square meters of exhibition area, with over 140 exhibitors coming from 18 countries, 45 conference sessions, and a good 242 speakers, among the top international experts in the involved sectors.
The fair, which took place simultaneoulsy with the great event dedicated to renewable energies (ENERSOLAR), was visited by 29,300 qualified operators from 74 countries.
WEM EXPO, already within the first edition, established itself as a reference point for the sector of coil winding, insulation and electric motors, and responded to the need for a fair like this also in Italy. Great interest was expressed in the congressional sessions which dealt with themes such as the energetic efficiency of electric motors, the developmental forecasts and the copper industry (which held its own forum CU Europe).
The next edition of WEM EXPO is from 16 to 19 Novembre 2011, again at Milan Fair Centre (Rho), and again within HTE-hi.tech.expo and together with ENERSOLAR.
